Overview of Job

The Homewood Suites is a 95-guest room hotel with a pool, an exercise room, a sports court, meeting facilities, food preparation and pantry area.  It consists of a 5-story steel and precast concrete structure with interior metal stud walls. A variety of wiring methods were utilized from armored metal cable for electric distribution, MC Cable for branch circuits, EMT conduit for power in exposed and mechanical spaces, and open NPLF fire alarm cabling.  A 2500 Amp, 208Y/120V, 3 Phase, 4 Wire service was distributed throughout the building utilizing a series of stacked electrical closets and 14 distribution panels. Each guestroom houses an individual 125 Amp load center.  A 3.3-acre site was fully illuminated using a combination of pole-mounted fixtures, ground floods and building mounted luminaries.

HOW TO GREEN YOUR HOLIDAY DECOR
Make your own ornaments and decorations. Once upon a time, decorating the home and tree was a family event, why not bring that back? Go on a scavenger hunt with the kids and find items around the house and the yard that can be `recycled` into holiday ornaments. It will provide hours of family fun, and when you use as many `found` objects as possible, you'll be teaching the kids how to reduce, reuse and recycle at the same time!

Think green when decorating for your holiday festivities by following these tips.
