SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM (BUFFALO)

We dug trenches and laid conduit to bring the power into our headquarters.
Great craftsmanship on the trenches and conduit.

The framing is just waiting for their panels.
Each panel has their own inverter. These inverters convert DC power, created by the panels into AC power that is common.
Our team installing the mechanicals that allow the tracker to move.

Recently completed at our headquarters, we have two solar 6 KW tracking systems. These systems have sensors that track sunlight and position the panels for optimal energy.  By tracking and following the sun, they should generate an additional 30-40% energy bringing their output to over 16 KW.

10 Winter Street is a vacant Buffalo property that PUSH is rehabilitating as a demonstration project to showcase the potential vacant housing stock has to take advantage of cutting edge green building technologies.  When it's complete, the property will feature advanced insulation technologies, rooftop photovoltaic (PV) and solar hot water systems, gray water management and a geothermal heating system installed in the adjacent vacant lot.

NATALE BUILDERS CHOOSES CIR FOR SOLAR POWER AT RIVERA GREENS

Rivera Greens ribbon cutting ceremony was held on November 2, 2011.
Rivera Greens is unique in its commitment to using New York State sustainable products and techniques throughout the entire development.
The 50-foot windmill from PYRUS Energy will power street lights in Rivera Greens as well as a fountain in the reservoir pond.

CIR INSTALLS SOLAR AT NATALE BUILDERS OFFICE BUILDING

Over the life of this system 406 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) will be eliminated from Natale's footprint. 406 Tons of CO2 is Equivalent to planting 2,030 trees or reducing driving by 812,000 auto miles.

CIR & Natale, Solar for Net Zero homes
The 17.568 kW PV system will produce enough electricity to satisfy 85-90 percent of the 2,000 square-foot office building's electricity needs. The system was designed to be both functional and attractive as a showcase piece for customers interested in Natale's new Net-Zero Neighborhoods.
These inverters convert DC to AC and the meters allow for excess power to be sent back to the grid.
Over the life of this system 406 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) will be eliminated from Natale's footprint. 406 Tons of CO2 is Equivalent to planting 2,030 trees or reducing driving by 812,000 auto miles.

CIR is currently installing a solar electric photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of Natale Builders new office building.

UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO INTERIOR LIGHTING & SPINE HVAC UPGRADES

UB North Campus
CIR was awarded the electrical contracts for two NYPA Energy Services Program Phase 2 jobs on UB's North Campus being completed by PRES Energy.  CIR is the Electrical Prime Contractor for the Interior Lighting Upgrades portion of the Campus Wide Lighting Upgrades project and a subcontractor for the John W. Danforth Company on the Spine HVAC Upgrades project.
