BUFFALO, NY - Jeff Pedro, Chief Financial Officer of CIR Electrical Construction Corporation, announced today that CIR & Richard Bergman of Heartland Homes have built and donated a solar demo kit to Erie 2 BOCES. The panels and kit were donated to the school's Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program and their new renewable resource focused Agriscience program. "Hopefully this new education initiative will ignite more interest in the schools renewable resources technologies department and future career opportunities in our communities" says Pedro. CIR recently installed new Silevo solar panels on Mr. Bergman's residence, replacing the photovoltaic panels that were installed 10 years ago. Mr. Bergman chose to donate 4 of the panels to the students at Erie2 Boces.
