Every year during the month of April, Buffalonians unite to do their part for mother nature.  Since 1970 businesses, organizations, communities and individuals all contribute to make this earth a better place.  You may be asking yourself 'What can I do this year to make a difference?' CIR invites you to come and educate yourself at the Seventh Annual Envir-O-Fair at Buffalo's City Hall where there will be a celebration and interactive exhibits of earth and ecology.  This event is taking place Friday, April 26, 2013 (Arbor Day) from 11am - 2pm.  It is free and open to the public.

"Buffalo Enviro-Fair is a great way to involve our city residents in learning more about our natural environment and getting them involved in community-based activities that support and protect the environment throughout the city," said Mayor Brown.

Corporate sponsors, who help pay for the not-for-profits to exhibit free, are Natale Builders' Rivera Greens, Unilock, Inc., Entercom Radio - Buffalo and CIR Electrical.

Our booth will be giving away free seedlings planted in re-usable coffee mugs that will be available to the public.  The CIR Electrical: Solar booth will be located right adjacent to Natale Homes and Senator Mark Grisanti's area.

So please, come on down!  We love talking to folks about all the ways they can become more eco-conscious through various energy saving lighting programs, solar energy systems and so much more!

We capture the water from the basement dehumidifier for reuse as part of the initial fill of laundry water. In the grand scheme of things, this is about 4 gallons per week in the summer, but it is better than sending it down the drain. >> More
