The WNY Sustainable Energy Association has announced that the 2010 Annual Tour of Solar Homes and Green Buildings will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The Western New York Sustainable Energy Association Trust will kick-off the event at 10 AM Saturday with a press conference at Watts Architecture & Engineering, 95 Perry Street, in Buffalo, where they will honor three buildings for outstanding leadership in the community for energy-efficient building methods and technology.

This year's event will also feature a presentation on "How to Make your Home Energy-Efficient" by Local Architect Kevin Connors of Eco-Logic Studios and a presentation on the Steel Winds Urban Wind Farm.

The tour is self-guided, FREE and open to the public.
