OUR AUGUST WINNER IS . . .
Congratulations to the crew at Lyndonville High School for outstanding Job Site Recycling!
The Lyndonville High School Job Site, lead by Foreman Jeff Haseley, was selected again as the August winner of our Job Site Recycling Incentive Program. It was close, but Jeff's crew put themselves over the top by returning record amounts of copper wire. Crew members include Fred Bergeman, Jim Bos, Alex Brown, Sam Buck, Marc Cessna, John Curry, Gary Kutis, Tom Martin, Jerry Mojeski, Jeff Plache, Tom Samol, Dan Staebell and Julie Zabawski.
Congratulations again to Jeff and his crew, and thank you to everyone in the warehouse and out in the field who is working hard to make CIR's Job Site Recycling Program a success!
DID YOU KNOW? The energy requirement to produce virgin copper is approximately 43,021 BTU/lb, but only 10 percent of that energy is required to produce recycled copper. That's a savings of approximately 38,719 BTU for every pound of recycled copper produced!
