CIR IS A BUSINESS PARTNER IN THE NYSERDA COMMERCIAL LIGHTING PROGRAM

Thu, May 27th 2010 08:15 am

In our sustainability statement, CIR pledges to continuously pursue supplementary knowledge and partnerships that will enable us to provide our customers with an increasing number of services within the ever-expanding arena of energy-efficiency and renewable energy technologies.  In particular, CIR has been working towards gaining the knowledge and partnerships necessary to assist our customers in attaining incentives available for making lighting and other energy-efficiency upgrades to their facilities.

We are proud to say that CIR is a Business Partner in the NYSERDA Commercial Lighting Program and delivers The Right LightSM to our clients.  The Commercial Lighting Program promotes effective, energy-efficient lighting solutions that help to improve the quality of the lighting for people who will use the spaces being lit.

NYSERDA offers incentives to help offset the additional costs associated with the purchase and installation of a variety of energy-efficient building technologies, including lighting, in both new and existing facilities.  For electrical projects, facilities must pay into the System Benefits Charge (SBC) as electricity distribution customers of one of several specified utilities, including National Grid and New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) Corporation.

As part of our commitment to helping our customers reduce their energy use, we are also assisting them with the incentive application paperwork.  CIR can complete the entire incentive application process on our customer's behalf, or simply help them to complete the application and compile the required back-up documentation.  It's all part of the value-added service we continually strive to provide our customers.
